Dear friends!  Today we are celebrating International Taekwondo Day ! This martial art finally became an Olympic kind of sport 26 years ago. But this is more than just sports. This is faith in the spirit power, as the power of good in the world. This shared faith unites us all in the Olympic community and allows us to move forward despite the difficulties. We are going through difficult times right now due to the global pandemic that has hit the economy, culture, tourism, sports — almost all spheres around the world. However, I am confident that we will overcome this challenge with persistence and endurance. And taekwondo forms these traits in a person. I sincerely congratulate all athletes, coaches and referees on this holiday !  I wish you good health, inspiration and further sport achievements !
